Design Council in the UK launches Inclusive Design Hub for the Built Environment
The Design Council in the UK has recently (July 2014) launched a new online inclusive Design Hub for the Built environment. The Hub has been designed for built environment specialist as a go-to source of information and guidance about inclusive design in the built environment.
The hub covers buildings and outdoor spaces, in all phases of development including planning, design and construction, right through to the management of those buildings and places. It is a collection of resources covering a wide range of sectors including:
- Culture and Leisure
- Transport
- Education
- Housing
- Healthcare
- Commercial
- Heritage
- Government
- Retail
