From all of us at O’Herlihy Access Consultancy, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
The past year has been incredibly busy with many changes and an expanding team of consultants. We were engaged on over 150 new projects in 2019 spanning all areas of our business from Training and Consultancy to Disability Access Certificates and Ancillary Certifier, with some of our highlights, including:
- Preparing Universal Design Policies and Action Plans for Government Departments, Hospitals and Universities.
- Participating on the judging panel for “Accessible Tourism Awards” in Europe where we adjudicated on a number of popular European destinations, exploring the initiatives they have undertaken to improve the accessibility of their cities and attractions.
- Delivering inclusive workplace training and Disability and Awareness Training throughout the country.
- Developing Inclusive workplace guidelines for Diageo as part of the Open Doors initiative.
- Providing strategic advice for a European Body on how to embed Universal Design.
- Presented at BCAR conferences advising on Part M and key items to be aware of in order to complete sign off on projects.
We hope that our knowledge, expertise and advice has helped our clients progress their projects in 2019 as we endeavour to provide industry leading services and support to all our customers.
As 2019 comes to a close we would like to express our gratitude to everyone whom we had the pleasure of working with during the year and are looking forward to growing those and new partnerships through 2020.
