Free accessibility seminars on making buildings and services accessible for all

Seminar 1- ‘10 ways to make services accessible for all’
20th February 2013 - 13.15-14.30 - Lunch Provided
This interactive seminar will assist you and your organisation to embed accessibility into your policies, procedures and plans. During the event we will provide 10 easy steps on how to ensure accessibility is mainstreamed and part of your everyday service delivery. The seminar will highlight how to make your services accessible for all with particular focus on customer services, accessible information provision and the built environment.

Seminar 2 - ‘How to ensure accessibility is embedded at all stages of Construction Projects’
27th February 2013 - 18.00-19.00 - Tea and coffee provided
This seminar is aimed at architects, engineers, construction personnel, local authority technical staff, facility managers and those with the responsibility of procurement. During the seminar we will provide information to ensure buildings are designed and constructed beyond minimum guidelines and in accordance with best practice. The seminar will also highlight the key stages that accessibility must be considered to ensure the built environment is accessible and usable upon completion.
