 Would you like to learn more about accessible housing design?

Do you have an interest in learning more about accessible housing design, lifetime homes or making existing housing accessible for people with disabilities? O’Herlihy Access Consultancy is delighted to announce that we are running a one day accessible housing design course on the 23rd February 2015.  This course will be of interest to: Housing Officers; Architects; Occupational Therapists; Local Authority Engineers and all those with an interest in homes that are designed for lifetime living.

The one day workshop introduces participants to the key principles of accessible and inclusive housing policy and design.  The practical workshop covers the latest national and international developments in accessible housing (e.g. The National Housing Strategy for People with Disabilities and national housing design guidelines) and is highly interactive, with videos, discussions, case studies, design reviews and everyday examples of barriers faced by people with disabilities within the home.
