Easy Access to Historic Buildings - Historic England
Historic England has recently (June 2015) revised their guidelines entitled Easy Access to Historic Buildings. The guidelines focus on physical access issues because these often pose the greatest challenges as well as opportunities for historic buildings.
The guidelines provide information on why access matters; how to plan for accessibility; implementing accessibility within your organisation; Barriers to access; How to make historic buildings more accessible and inclusive; where to go to get more information and relevant contacts.
