Funding scheme for artists with disabilities.
The Arts and Disability Connect (ADC) is a funding scheme available to artists with disabilities to expand their practice and make new connections with the art sector in Ireland.
Arts and Disability Connect is funded by the Arts Council and managed by Arts & Disability Ireland. Arts Council supports artforms like architecture, circus, dance, film, literature, music, opera, street arts and spectacle, theatre, traditional arts and visual arts.
Key strands for the application are as follow:
- New Work - For established artists to develop new work.
- Mentoring - For artists at all stages who are looking for mentoring opportunities.
- Training - For artists at all stages who want to pursue professional development and learning opportunities.
All applications will be assessed by an independent panel, which will include a practising artist with disabilities and arts professionals.
