Post-school education and training options for people with disabilities

An information booklet is now available (published in June 2014) entitled "Post-School Education and Training Information on Options for Adults and School Leavers with Disabilities on post-school education and training options for people with disabilities". The booklet has been developed by the National Council for Special Education, with publication jointly funded by the National Disability Authority.

The booklet provides general information about the main programmes and supports in education and training of people with disabilities including Vocational Training; Higher education; HSE Rehabilitative Training and Adult Day Services and services provided by the Department of Social Protection for People with Disabilities.

The guide also provides a list of key contacts (e.g. AHEAD, Citizens' Information Board and Intreo), guides and sources of information.
