Commitment to Quality
O’Herlihy Access Consultancy (OHAC) is committed to making buildings and services accessible for our clients. We are also committed to ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and continuously refine our quality control to ensure we deliver. We also ensure that:
- All professional and technical staff members in OHAC take structured in-house CPD training in access issues on a monthly basis and are fully familiar with relevant accessibility legislation.
- We provide accredited training to all staff. Two members of our staff are currently completing additional post-graduate training in accessibility and Universal Design and are supported by an experienced Senior Access Consultant and administrator.
- The latest documents are at the disposal of staff: OHAC has an extensive technical library of international accessibility standards and guidance documents.
- Processes and procedure reviews take place following completion of projects and necessary changes are made.
- Quality control checklists are utilised and reviewed regularly and project procedural checklists are used on all projects.
- Weekly reviews take place on all projects and reports are compiled. Eoin O’Herlihy reviews processes and procedures following the completion of all projects and makes necessary changes as required to ensure the continuous improvement of our service delivery.
We are constantly striving to improve our service standards and methods of delivery. This results in a high quality training experience with increased subject retention and maximum learner participation.
OHAC has been an accredited training provider with Engineers Ireland since 2009 and a recognised training provider on the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland CPD Links programme since October 2009.
