Brief update on Part M of the Building Regulations
As highlighted in a number of news articles in the past, the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government have been working over the past number of years to update Part M of the Building Regulations and the accompanying Technical Guidance Document (TGD). It was intended to publish the new Part M by the end of July 2010, but it now looks like the final document will be sent to the Minister in Autumn and the new Part M and TGD will be published by the end of the year.
